Street Dance/Jazz classes for age 7+ are taught by Jane

STREET DANCE/JAZZ FOR AGE 7+

2009 sees a change for Jane. Having taught for 12 years, Jane has decided to concentrate on her first love of Street/Jazz style.  The class offers an opportunity for children aged 7-13 to dance to current hip hop/pop/chart music.  No previous dance experience is necessary.

Some of our students already study formal ballet classes. This class is about dance for fun but will offer an opportunity for exam students to experience a different form of dance and broaden their dance repertoire.

Classes start with a warm up, followed by a choreography over several weeks and end with stretches to cool down. The class is purely about FUN!!!

Uniform:  We don't have any rules for class other than clothing that students can MOVE in. No jeans allowed.

For our showcase we require black leotard*, black jazz trousers and jazz shoes/sneakers.  More detail on the Dancewear page
